BNP - Customer Case Study

BNP s.r.l., an Italian manufacturer of ergonomic industrial equipment, was seeking to enhance its in-house production capabilities. While they had used FDM 3D printing, they faced restrictions with part strength and surface finish on functional components. To overcome this, they turned to vendor Sinterit for a more advanced additive manufacturing solution.

Sinterit provided its Lisa X SLS 3D printer, which allowed BNP to produce strong, functional end-use parts with smooth surfaces without the need for supports. The results included significantly increased part strength and the ability to print large components in a single piece. BNP also utilized Sinterit's PA12 Industrial powder and complete post-processing station, enabling them to potentially replace aluminum and carbon fiber parts with 3D printed alternatives.
