Texas School District Enhances Emergency Response with InformaCast and Splendid Technology

Aubrey ISD, a school district outside Dallas serving 2,500 students across five campuses, needed to replace its aging phone system and improve emergency response so staff could get help faster during crises. Working with Singlewire Software and Splendid Technology, the district adopted InformaCast to better coordinate safety and communication across campus.

Singlewire Software’s InformaCast was integrated with the district’s IP phones, speakers, and mobile devices to send alerts when someone dialed 9-1-1 from a school building. This gave security advance notice before dispatch and helped Aubrey ISD respond faster to emergencies; in one medical incident, the team was alerted through InformaCast before the 911 call was completed, saving critical time and reducing treatment delay.
