School District Improves Message Reach with InformaCast

Necedah Area School District, a rural Wisconsin district that houses elementary, middle and high school under one roof (700 students, 130 staff), struggled with an 18-year-old analog paging system that produced poor audio, limited zone control and a cumbersome paging process—making it hard to reach the right audiences during routine and critical events.

The district upgraded to IP speakers managed by InformaCast, providing clear audio, scrolling displays, flexible zone configuration and simplified scheduling. The change improved message reach across targeted zones (elementary, middle, high, gym, outside), reduced classroom interruptions, streamlined paging procedures and positioned the district to expand into emergency notifications and door-security integrations.
