San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD), a California K–12 district of 31 schools serving more than 24,000 students, was facing rapid growth and aging facilities. The district needed a modern, district-wide phone, bell, clock and PA system that would improve communications while reducing construction and low-voltage costs.

SRVUSD implemented Singlewire’s InformaCast paging software with IP addressable speakers and integrated clocks in five schools, consolidating phone, data and speaker systems onto a single IP infrastructure. The system was installed and operational in days, allowed web-based schedule and volume changes, supported emergency all-calls, cut PA system costs by about 50%, has required no field service or downtime since deployment, and led the district to order the solution for additional schools.
