KCTCS Implements InformaCast for Campus Emergency Notification

Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), founded in 1998, includes 16 community and technical colleges with 67 campuses across Kentucky. As part of its crisis management planning, KCTCS needed a stable emergency notification system that could quickly reach multiple sites and ensure continuity in mass notifications.

KCTCS implemented Singlewire’s InformaCast mass notification and paging software alongside the Desktop Notification System and SchoolMessenger, enabling alerts across IP phones and speakers, legacy paging, computer desktops, SMS, and email. The multi-channel solution provided reliable, rapid campus-wide communication and continuity for critical emergency response.
