Church Mutual, a leading insurance provider for religious institutions based in Merrill, Wis., discovered its emergency communications could not reach all employees quickly enough. With more than 800 staff at headquarters, roughly 300 at other offices and field reps nationwide, the company needed a faster, more reliable way to alert people on- and off-campus during active threats, weather events and other emergencies.

Church Mutual implemented InformaCast mass notification to send alerts via desk phone, home phone, email, SMS and mobile devices, with multiple activation methods and regular testing. The system shortened notification times, enabled response confirmations, proved effective during a winter closure, and has become a cornerstone of the company’s safety and security efforts.
