Airbus Helicopter - Customer Case Study

Airbus Helicopters has chosen Sinequa to improve access to enterprise data and thus increase performance and satisfaction of its employees. In line with the complexity of the company's products, rapid and easy access to up-to-date technical information represents a considerable challenge. Indeed, the large European company with a worldwide presence needs to provide a highly secure access to relevant data from most diverse sources and in a variety of languages. Airbus Helicopters was looking for a solution that could meet all its different professional needs in the context of accessing relevant information, rather than creating a specific solution for each profession. After a conclusive Proof of concept (POC), Sinequa was selected amongst the big players of the Search market, in order to replace Airbus Helicopters' existing solution from a Search provider recently acquired by a large conglomerate. Amongst the IT criteria of the choice, Sinequa's Grid architecture and the ensuing scalability were important for Airbus Helicopters. Their current architecture is composed of a 5-node Sinequa Grid distributed across the sites at Marignane (France), Donauwörth (Germany), and La Courneuve (France). This architecture can easily be extended to subsidiaries in America and Asia.
