Wavin, the global leader in plastic pipe systems with 3,000 users and multiple European data centres, faced severe application performance and visibility issues after moving to Office 365 and migrating infrastructure to Azure. Critical apps—Office 365, Citrix and Telnet—suffered from dropped packets, sync failures (one migration left the network unusable for 5–6 days) and poor QoS on internet links; previous attempts with sFlow/NetFlow failed to pinpoint problems. To address this, Wavin trialed Sinefa’s technology, including Sinefa probes for site-level monitoring and control.

Sinefa deployed scalable probes across sites, enabled traffic profiling and bandwidth control, and implemented traffic shaping policies to prioritize critical applications. As a result, Sinefa eliminated Telnet and backup performance issues, guaranteed SAP bandwidth, and made Office 365 migration stable; Wavin reduced MPLS reliance and cut link costs by ~30–50%, and saw a 20% drop in critical NOC incident tickets.
