Just.Live is a community-powered mobile app designed to fight social injustices worldwide through live streaming. Their challenge was to build a secure and highly scalable platform that could support thousands of concurrent live streams, work on low-bandwidth connections, and protect user content from being wrongfully deleted. They partnered with the vendor Simublade to engineer this solution.

Simublade developed a native iOS and Android application featuring an RTMP-based live streaming system capable of supporting thousands of concurrent streams and viewers. A key solution was a two-step video retention system requiring biometric or PIN authentication to delete videos, which are first hidden and then permanently deleted after 30 days. Although the app is still in testing and not yet launched, it has undergone intensive scalability and usability testing. Simublade engineered a solution that prepares Just.Live to become a major phenomenon in the social space.
