Silent-Aire cuts their product development and testing time and cost by half

Silent-Aire, a technology-driven manufacturer of hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions, needed a faster way to pre-test the performance of its AHUs and validate airflow mixing under strict temperature requirements before building expensive prototypes. The company turned to SimScale for cloud-native CFD simulation to create a digital twin of the test setup and evaluate multiple internal layouts.

With SimScale, Silent-Aire was able to replace much of its physical prototyping with digital simulation, reducing the pre-testing phase from 4–6 weeks to 2–3 weeks and cutting engineering man-hours from 85 to 40. SimScale helped Silent-Aire reduce development and testing cost and time by 50%, improve confidence in final designs, and de-risk first-of-kind builds by validating performance earlier in the process.
