A SIMS Case Study
Sponne School, a secondary school in Towcester, needed a better way to keep parent and student communications timely and accurate while reducing the time spent managing data and mailings. The school wanted to streamline communications and ensure its information stayed up to date, so it turned to SIMS and the SIMS InTouch communication tool.
SIMS implemented SIMS InTouch to let the school send emails for exam timetables, reminders, attendance certificates, detention notices, closures, trips and other updates, all from data held in SIMS. The school saved significant paper and staff time, cut the communication workload from a full day every day to just over half a day, and saw fewer exam absences and fewer issues caused by timetable confusion.
