Delta Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust of 50 schools in Yorkshire, wanted a faster way to access and use SIMS data across its schools so central staff could spot performance issues, compare groups, and support improvement without waiting for schools to run and send reports. SIMS helped address the challenge by enabling the trust to work with real-time information instead of outdated extracts.

Using SIMS Consolidated Reporting with Power BI, SIMS created automated reporting that pulled school data into one secure place and displayed it on role-specific dashboards for staff on any device. This gave the trust instant visibility of attendance, achievement, behaviour and exclusions, improved clarity on MAT performance, and made it easier to identify trends and share best practice across schools, freeing teachers and leaders to focus more on pupils.
