Road Runner Mobile Tyres, founded by John Shim and Steve McCarthy, set out to disrupt the traditional tyre industry by bringing on-site tyre fitting and repairs to customers between 6am and 9pm. To scale a high-touch, mobile service across multiple cities while maintaining quality, they needed an integrated operations and accounting platform — implemented using Simpro’s technologies (simTRAC and simPRO including Connect) alongside Xero.
Simpro delivered an integrated platform that streamlined job scheduling, fleet management, payments and back‑office accounting, enabling consistent customer service as Road Runner expanded across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The solution supports their growing team (15 staff and seven vans on the road), simplified phone payments and appointment coordination, and positioned the business for nationwide growth — demonstrating clear operational scale and improved service reliability thanks to Simpro.
