Polyteck, a London-based facilities management business responsible for electrical and HVAC&R across almost 400 sites (including the historic Royal Exchange), faced a paper-based, reactive maintenance process that made it difficult to detect failing equipment early and scale without adding staff. To solve this, Polyteck adopted Simpro’s simPRO IoT solution (delivered by partner Enviro‑Logik) to move toward condition-based, end-to-end asset monitoring.

Enviro‑Logik retrofitted low-cost, often battery-powered sensors and gateways that feed real-time data into the simPRO IoT dashboard, enabling Polyteck to create service jobs and monitor asset health remotely. The Simpro-powered system provided measurable benefits: an early refrigerant-loss alert prevented a chiller trip and avoided costly refrigerant replacement, temperature issues were fixed before tenant complaints, and handwritten logbooks were replaced by digital asset histories—improving responsiveness and tenant peace of mind.
