DC Electrical, an Albion, Queensland–based electrical, fire protection and HVAC firm, was hampered by slow, paper-based workflows: technicians submitted paper job cards and invoicing was delayed, making field-to-office communication inefficient. To modernize operations they adopted Simpro’s simPRO platform, including the simPRO mobile app, to digitize job paperwork and improve real-time communication with field staff.
Simpro implemented simPRO with mobile app usage, multi-company functionality and Xero integration, plus ongoing support via a simCHAMP and Help Guide. As a result, DC Electrical consolidated three businesses under one profile, centralised reporting and KPIs, sped up invoicing by eliminating paper job cards, and grew from a two-person start-up to over 60 employees within five years.
