Transforming Internal Communications The Simpplr Solution at Silicon Labs

Silicon Labs, a global technology company with ~2,000 employees across 21 offices, faced a fragmented internal communications landscape after its old intranet crashed and Confluence proved inadequate as a people-facing platform. With no consistent communications processes, messy content governance, and a need to integrate with tools like Dropbox, Okta, Workday and ServiceNow, Silicon Labs selected Simpplr to deliver a modern, user-friendly intranet experience (branded internally as The Circuit).

Simpplr led a cross-functional implementation—using visualization workshops, trained site owners, quarterly regional support sessions and executive sponsorship—to migrate and restructure content, integrate critical systems, and launch The Circuit in February 2023. The results were rapid and measurable: ~80% adoption at launch (99.5% of employees logged in at least once), a 50-point lift in Net Promoter Score, and growth from 50 to 70 active sites within six months, with ongoing engagement metrics meeting or exceeding goals. Simpplr’s solution established a centralized “source of truth,” simplified content creation without IT, and significantly improved internal communications at Silicon Labs.
