Renewal by Andersen creates ‘One Network’ to improve employee experience and community

Renewal by Andersen, a national window-replacement business with roughly 2,500 employees and 100+ affiliates, struggled with an antiquated 1995 intranet that lacked mobile access, poor UX, and made it difficult to align dispersed teams and share training, announcements, and best practices. To build a unified “One Network” and improve employee experience, Renewal by Andersen chose Simpplr to power a new employee experience platform called The Link.

Using Simpplr, Renewal by Andersen launched The Link with department sites, syndicated news, group-managed pages, mobile/text alerts, and strong search capability; the platform now serves over 2,500 employees, hosts more than 2,300 content items, and supports up to ~75 searches per day. The Simpplr-powered solution centralized communications and social impact efforts—helping raise over $1M for the American Cancer Society, strengthen company culture, and drive measurable engagement and community-driven outcomes.
