The California Teachers Association (CTA), representing over 310,000 educators, required a secure and scalable online voting system to manage its complex union elections. Their challenges included handling hundreds of thousands of voters, running multiple concurrent elections with tailored ballots for different member groups, and integrating secure voter authentication. They turned to vendor Simply Voting Inc. for its online voting system.

Simply Voting implemented its online voting system, which provided CTA with self-service election management, voter segmentation for tailored ballots, and single sign-on integration with their existing member portal. The scalable platform successfully handled everything from small local votes to an election with over 277,000 eligible voters. Since 2019, Simply Voting's solution has enabled CTA to conduct nearly 150 secure and efficient online elections.
