How we helped the Ambulance Service push great ideas forward whilst saving them time and resource

Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) partnered with Simply Do to find a better way to engage staff and surface ideas across a large, decentralised organisation. With stations in different locations and varying local needs, YAS needed a more effective approach to support employee wellbeing and capture improvement ideas beyond centrally managed initiatives.

Simply Do provided a platform and support framework for creating structured innovation challenges, making it easier for staff to submit, comment on, and track ideas online and offline. The result was a 75% increase in ideas generated, 2,000 ideas captured and reviewed, and 100% of surveyed staff saying Simply Do helped them feel YAS is committed to improvement, with many local ideas already making a tangible impact.
