The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office faced an inefficient and lengthy manual process for approving hundreds of agreements annually. Using email and shared drives for routing led to a lack of control and visibility, a problem exacerbated by the shift to remote work. The manual system caused significant delays, often taking several months to finalize a single agreement.
The office implemented SimpliGov's no-code workflow automation and SimpliSign e-signature solution. The intuitive platform allowed them to quickly build and launch four automated processes for different agreement types. As a result, SimpliGov helped reduce the approval time by one-third, down to approximately one month, and enabled the ratification of 57 agreements in the first month alone, providing full visibility into every document's status.
