A SimpliGov Case Study
New Castle County turned to SimpliGov when the CARES Act and Coronavirus Relief Fund created an unprecedented need to distribute and track emergency federal grant money. The county needed a fast, flexible way to manage applications, approvals, compliance requirements, and documentation across agencies, municipalities, and community organizations while keeping every funding decision traceable.
Using SimpliGov’s no-code cloud workflow and forms platform, New Castle County launched a compliant reimbursement program in less than 48 hours, created a centralized application portal, automated certification letters and payment tasks, and kept all correspondence and records in one system. SimpliGov helped the county distribute $322.8 million over two years, fulfill more than 1,000 grants, pass a third-party audit with zero findings, and quickly adapt the same templates for ARPA initiatives and other statewide services.
