VisitDallas Mixes Things Up With Margarita Mile Digital Passport

VisitDallas wanted a fun way to engage in-market visitors and locals while driving awareness for the Margarita Mile, a self-guided tasting trail of Dallas restaurants and bars. To support that effort, Simpleview provided the VisitApps Digital Passport tool as part of VisitDallas’s DMO marketing stack.

Using the digital passport, visitors could check in at participating bars, restaurants, and nightlife spots to earn prizes without making a purchase, while also accessing maps, listings, and transportation guidance. Simpleview’s solution helped VisitDallas generate 40,263 downloads, 1,358 weekly active users, 11,358 check-ins, and 2,188 new passport registrations by April 2019, with app downloads up 188% since 2018.
