Visit Tampa Improves Revenue with DTN Program

Visit Tampa Bay partnered with Simpleview to run a digital advertising program for its industry partners on VisitTampaBay.com. The challenge was to manage online ad sales and backend operations efficiently while improving partner participation, ad performance, and revenue for the destination marketing organization.

Simpleview’s Destination Travel Network (DTN) provided the solution by handling ad sales and operations, along with customer support and website presentation. The program delivered strong results, increasing revenue by 40% by 2012 and growing advertiser participation to 70 by 2013; after reuniting with DTN in 2015, advertiser numbers more than tripled from 2014 levels, reaching 11,600 clicks per month and 1.7 million impressions per month by 2018.
