A Simpleview Case Study
Visit Oakland, a destination marketing organization, wanted to strengthen its diversity and inclusion efforts by improving digital accessibility on its website. After realizing it was under-serving people with disabilities, the team turned to Simpleview for guidance and selected AudioEye, a digital accessibility solution, to help make its site more inclusive.
Simpleview implemented AudioEye’s three-step process: activation, manual testing and discovery, and remediation, validation, and optimization. The result was an accessibility badge, toolbar, and ongoing monitoring to help keep the site compliant with ADA-related standards and aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA guidance, giving users tools to customize the site for their needs and helping Visit Oakland maintain accessibility as content changes.
