A Simpleview Case Study
Great West Way wanted to connect travelers around the world to its new English touring route and inspire them to visit in person. With support from Simpleview and its tourism technology, the DMO needed a digital platform that could showcase the route’s attractions, accommodations, and experiences in a way that would appeal to both overseas and domestic visitors.
Simpleview delivered a new website, GreatWestWay.co.uk, powered by the Tourism Aggregated Dataset UK (TAD-UK) and regional DMS data. The site features rich destination content, inspirational imagery, route planning and mapping tools, bespoke tour building, and suggested itineraries that can be saved and shared. The result is a first-of-its-kind touring platform that helps Great West Way promote collaborative regional travel and received backing through the UK Government’s £40 million Discover England Fund.
