Experience Grand Rapids, working with Simpleview, needed a better way to help visitors plan trips on mobile. Their existing site listed 350+ attractions in alphabetical order with only minimal filtering, making it hard for travelers to find relevant options. They wanted a virtual concierge that was fun, engaging, and mobile-friendly to complement their Certified Tourism Ambassador program.

Simpleview helped Experience Grand Rapids launch GR City Twist, a responsive website featuring personas, interest groups, and personalized listings so users could “twist the wheel” and explore tailored recommendations. The site also lets visitors build custom itineraries to save, print, or share. Results were strong: in the first seven months, visits increased by over 45% and page views rose by just over 70%, and the project earned the 2014 MSAE Diamond Award for Website.
