Experience Grand Rapids wanted to improve its website and partnered with Simpleview after commissioning Destination Analysts to study what visitors wanted from the site. The research used in-depth usability interviews with 15 leisure travelers across desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices to evaluate the site’s design, functionality, content, and overall effectiveness.

Based on the findings, Simpleview redesigned the website to better highlight key planning content like “Top 10 Reasons to Visit,” and refreshed the visual approach with brighter images and videos that better reflected the destination. As a result, Experience Grand Rapids launched a more engaging, highly visual site that showcases attractions, dining, and events for a wider range of visitors.
