Explore Fairbanks partnered with Simpleview to launch a new, redesigned website while also creating affordable advertising opportunities for local business partners. Their challenge was to build a program that could work for businesses of all sizes and help offset website costs without disrupting the site’s design or partner relationships.
Simpleview’s Destination Travel Network (DTN) team worked with Explore Fairbanks to plan the launch, align ad placements with the new site design, and prepare sales materials and partner communications. The result was a textbook rollout with sponsored ads live on launch day, generating revenue immediately; participation later grew from 12 local businesses at launch to 25 businesses engaged in the DTN program.
