Gifyyy is a lightweight, automated GIF photobooth created by wedding photographer Benjamin Chernivsky and designer David Miller to give photographers a portable, easy-to-use alternative to bulky DIY booths. Their challenge was delivering GIFs to guests quickly and reliably via SMS — their prior SMS provider had delivery failures — so they integrated with the SimpleTexting API to handle text-based delivery of photos and gallery links.

Using SimpleTexting, Gifyyy’s iPad app and web platform now send an immediate SMS with a GIF link when guests enter their number and allow operators to send up to three bulk texts per event (e.g., gallery links or follow-ups). SimpleTexting enabled a rapid onboarding switch within days and reliable delivery across the U.S. and Canada, improving guest experience, giving photographers a built-in marketing channel, and helping Gifyyy scale from a single studio product to an international offering.
