How LEAP Used Our API To Create A Custom SMS Solution

LEAP (Learning Enrichment and Assistance Program), led by Founder/CEO Lisa Marker-Robbins, supports college-bound students but was struggling with missed tutoring appointments and no-shows while managing hundreds of schedules. To address this, LEAP used SimpleTexting’s API integrated with their scheduling platform Bizstim to add timely SMS reminders and other text-based touchpoints.

Using SimpleTexting, Bizstim accessed the API to automate reminder texts a few hours before sessions, enable keyword sign-ups for test reminders, send mass alerts for last-minute changes, and run text-to-vote interactions during presentations. The result: SimpleTexting’s solution “significantly cut down” on no-shows and cancellations, improved turnout and engagement across LEAP’s 400+ students, and delivered faster, higher-open-rate communications for urgent updates.
