XING, a major business networking and recruiting services company, needed to migrate from a manual, older system to a more scalable and automated solution for managing its Apple devices. Their goal was to unify deployment across all company locations and significantly reduce the time required to configure new Macs. To address this challenge, they turned to the vendor SimpleMDM for its Apple MDM solution.

SimpleMDM provided a unified system to manage XING's large number of Mac and iOS devices through integrations with Apple DEP and VPP. The solution automated the enrollment process and, by utilizing the SimpleMDM API and webhooks, integrated with internal reporting systems like Nagios and Icinga for monitoring and notifications. This implementation put XING on a path toward a fully touchless, zero-touch deployment, greatly improving the scalability and efficiency of their device management.
