Simpalm was hired by the National Fitness Campaign to address a key challenge. The customer needed an easier way for users to check in to their outdoor Fitness Courts and to boost consistent engagement. Their existing mobile app had friction, requiring downloads and user registration, which hindered adoption and recurrent activity. They also sought to incorporate gamification to reward users.

The solution from Simpalm was a Progressive Web App (PWA) accessible via QR codes at each court. This PWA streamlined guest check-ins, added registered user profiles, and introduced gamified features like badges, weekly streaks, and a national leaderboard. Simpalm also provided a super admin platform for managing content and viewing analytics. The impact was that the client gained useful analytics on PWA usage, enabling them to compare data with their mobile app and develop better strategies for user engagement and experience improvement.
