TeePublic, the world’s largest marketplace for independent creators, needed to accelerate paid social growth but lacked confidence in incremental ROAS and struggled with campaigns because conversion data was comingled with re-engagement. TeePublic partnered with Simon Data to integrate with their database and apply audience-level segmentation and Facebook audience syncs to better separate Acquisition, Remarketing, and Re‑engagement efforts.
Simon Data built granular segments from order, site activity, and email engagement, implemented Facebook exclusion lists, and provided an independent incrementality testing framework. As a result, TeePublic more than doubled paid social spend with confidence and achieved a 161% increase in paid social revenue, a 121% increase in paid social spend, and a 21% improvement in paid social ROAS.
