Tryg i Bil, part of Tryg, wanted to add telematics to its auto-insurance offering so it could gain real-time visibility into accidents, vehicle health, and driver behavior. Working with Simform, the insurer set out to digitally transform claims handling and fleet management using connected vehicle data, with the goal of improving safety, transparency, and premium calculations.

Simform built an IoT-based fleet tracking and insurance telematics platform using cloud, data processing, mobile apps, and web dashboards, integrated with OBD-II/vehicle sensors and Azure services such as IoT Hub, Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, and Blob storage.
