Transforming the client experience

Heartwood Investment Management, a UK-based asset manager, faced rising client and adviser expectations, increased regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., MiFID II), and limitations in its legacy client reporting systems. To transform its client experience and deliver timely, transparent communications, Heartwood selected SimCorp and its Client Communications and Reporting platform, SimCorp Coric, to underpin a new Dynamic Reporting programme.

SimCorp implemented SimCorp Coric in a two‑phase delivery that replaced legacy factsheets and quarterly reporting, launched a secure Client Centre (desktop and mobile), and automated daily data, commentary and report generation. The project went live on time and on budget; Heartwood now delivers daily, consistently branded reports, has substantially reduced manual report runs and speeds up regulatory reporting, and enables business users to make minor report changes without heavy IT involvement—improving client and adviser engagement and creating a clear competitive advantage for Heartwood.
