SCOR, a leading global reinsurer, needed to support IFRS 9 compliance as part of a wider IT transformation while managing middle- and back-office activities across multiple accounting frameworks. SCOR had been using SimCorp Dimension since 2007, and worked closely with SimCorp to address these complex requirements.

SimCorp implemented a dedicated IFRS 9 platform and redesigned the closing process to cover all IFRS 9 specifics. As a result, SCOR now operates fully on the new platform, with SimCorp helping deliver a successful transformation and compliance setup.
