The Retirement Systems of Alabama (RSA) wanted to reduce support costs and lower operational and financial risk while improving investment operations. To do this, RSA partnered with SimCorp and moved to SimCorp’s SaaS solution, later expanding the relationship by adding SimCorp’s Front Office solution to support a more integrated, end-to-end investment workflow.

With SimCorp, RSA gained seamless upgrades, the ability to run reconciliations multiple times per day without intervention, and a more exceptions-based operating model supported by better data quality and automation. The addition of SimCorp’s Front Office is expected to give RSA real-time, firm-wide visibility across asset classes, reduce manual Excel-based workflows, and further cut operational risk and month-end close effort, helping the organization reinvest savings in service to its communities.
