OPERS streamlines upgrades and minimizes timelines with Continuous Testing Service

Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS), the largest pension system in Ohio, manages a diverse investment portfolio of more than USD 120 billion across multiple asset classes. Already live on SimCorp since 2020, OPERS wanted to simplify and speed up software upgrades while reducing the internal effort needed to support testing and maintenance.

In 2023, OPERS adopted SimCorp’s Continuous Testing Service, which moved regression testing earlier in the upgrade cycle and shifted testing responsibility to SimCorp. The result was a smoother upgrade process completed in 12 weeks, with turnaround times reduced from months to weeks, less internal workload, improved predictability for timelines and costs, and a seamless transition that freed staff to focus on other priorities.
