A SimCorp Case Study

Preview of the NÜRNBERGER Case Study

NÜRNBERGER streamlines investment management with SimCorp Dimension for EUR 27.56 billion AUM

NÜRNBERGER, a German insurance company, faced the challenge of adapting to stricter national regulations and transitioning to international accounting standards (IFRS), which required a major overhaul of its investment management and reporting processes. To ensure the safety and security of its investment activities, NÜRNBERGER turned to vendor SimCorp and implemented its integrated platform, SimCorp Dimension.

The solution from SimCorp involved a phased implementation of SimCorp Dimension, which became the central data repository and process platform for the vast majority of investments. It automated workflows, ensured data consistency, and enabled comprehensive monitoring and reporting. This allowed NÜRNBERGER to efficiently meet regulatory requirements, actively manage risk, and support its investment strategy. Approximately 40 employees daily use the system, and the company is now well-equipped to adapt to future market and regulatory changes.
