New data warehouse enables best-practice data management and report creation

CNP Assurances, the leading personal insurer in France with EUR 335bn under management, was struggling with decentralized, manual and non‑versioned reporting processes as it expanded in Europe and Brazil. Report creation involved multiple silos, duplicated effort and risked inaccurate data, and their existing setup did not cover updates to the core SimCorp Dimension platform. To centralize and scale reporting, CNP Assurances chose the SimCorp Data Warehouse from vendor SimCorp over a bespoke in‑house build.

SimCorp deployed its Data Warehouse with out‑of‑the‑box interfaces to SimCorp Dimension and a best‑practice data model, requiring minimal configuration and cutting implementation effort, meetings and consultancy hours—while lowering long‑term total cost of ownership. The solution automated report creation, enabled time‑stamped/versionable data and business self‑service BI so staff can focus on value‑added tasks, and SimCorp now maintains the warehouse so Dimension updates are automatically reflected, improving scalability and governance for CNP Assurances.
