River Valley Community School District - Customer Case Study

River Valley Community School District, serving about 425 students across two schools, struggled to manage board materials and keep stakeholders informed when relying on Google Docs. To increase transparency and provide a single source of access for board members, staff and the community, the district adopted Simbli, initially using Simbli’s Meetings module and beginning to leverage its Planning module.

With Simbli, River Valley consolidated board, building-level and district meetings into a searchable, version-controlled platform that improved access to past discussions, sped communication, and clarified board directions. After eight months the district expanded Simbli’s use across multiple meeting types, and Superintendent Ken Slater reports the platform has increased transparency and efficiency while positioning the board to align agendas and actions to strategic goals via Simbli’s Planning and goal scorecard tools.
