Case Study: Oconee County Schools achieves accreditation alignment and streamlined governance with Simbli

Promoting Accountability and Continuous Improvement

Oconee County Schools, serving 6,437 students across 10 schools, needed to ensure its governance teams were aligned with district goals, accountable for sustained improvement, and prepared for accreditation reviews. To meet those challenges the district selected Simbli, using Simbli’s Evaluation software alongside its Meetings, Policy and Planning tools and Core Four framework to run board evaluations, superintendent reviews, and AdvancED/SACS-aligned self-assessments.

Simbli helped Oconee conduct governance team self-assessments, collect evidence, create action plans, and link meeting, policy and planning data directly to SACS/AdvancED standards. The platform increased transparency by posting agendas, minutes and policies, reduced copying and personnel time, and impressed the external review team with accessible, aligned documentation; outcomes include successful re-accreditation, multiple awards (including Best Overall Use of Simbli), and stronger district-wide accountability.
