A Simbli Case Study
Carroll County Schools, a Georgia district serving about 14,500 students across 23 schools, was struggling with “SPOTS” (strategic plans on the shelf) and needed to make improvement plans living documents that drive alignment, transparency and accountability. To address this, the district turned to Simbli and adopted Simbli’s strategic planning/Planning software to align district and school goals, tie resource and personnel decisions to common strategic directions, and ensure stakeholders share a single set of guiding priorities.
Simbli enabled Carroll County to manage and publish district and local school improvement plans, Balanced Scorecards, board agendas and policies, with plan views filterable by department, individual, due date or status so progress and performance are visible to all. The district reports greater transparency and alignment across board and schools, improved ability to evaluate personnel, lower costs from online postings, and external recognition (including GSBA honors and awards for planning/evaluations), showing clear governance and communication improvements delivered by Simbli.
