Better Board Management Helps Impact Student Achievement

Grandview C-4 School District faced a time-consuming, paper-heavy policy review process with no efficient paper trail or accessible historical record and needed better management of strategic planning and evaluations. The district turned to Simbli, adopting its Core Four board management tools—Meetings, Policies, Plans and Evaluations—to consolidate governance work online and replace cumbersome email-based workflows.

Simbli implemented its integrated Meetings module to create templates, store supporting documents, track history and collect staff feedback, while the Plans and Evaluations modules were used for the CSIP and superintendent evaluations. As a result, all board meetings are now managed within Simbli, the policy review process is organized and archived (no longer lost in endless email chains), and the district has tighter alignment between meetings, plans, policies and evaluations—outcomes that helped improve board effectiveness and were recognized with eBOARDsolutions awards.
