VTB launches a mobile accounting app in 10 weeks with SimbirSoft

The customer, VTB, a leading bank in Russia, approached the vendor SimbirSoft with the challenge of quickly developing a new mobile accounting application for individual entrepreneurs. The goal was to create a tool that would automate accounting processes, allowing business owners to focus on development instead of manual bookkeeping.

SimbirSoft implemented the solution by assembling a dedicated team to develop the Cifra mobile app using Kotlin and Swift. They rewrote the majority of the code, established a new infrastructure, and added critical features like tax calculation and a helper chat. As a result of SimbirSoft's work, the application's user base grew by seven times, and the team continues to enhance the product with new features.
