SimbirSoft was engaged by Magnit Delivery, a service of the leading Russian retail chain Magnit, to improve the quality of its internal systems. The challenge was to automate the smoke and regression UI test suites for the Magnit Delivery website to ensure product quality and reduce the complexity of maintaining the broad functionality of its retail ecosystem.

The solution implemented by SimbirSoft involved developing automated UI tests in Python. Over four months, a two-person team automated over 110 test cases. This significantly reduced the manual testing workload for regression cycles and helped identify several bugs that were subsequently fixed. SimbirSoft continues to maintain the automated test suite to keep it current with website changes.
