Kodiak Security Services, founded in 1996 in Spokane, Washington, provides airport security services, including landside and airside coverage at Spokane International Airport. The company needed a better way to reduce passenger complaints around TSA interactions and make shift check-ins more efficient for its airport security teams. They turned to Silvertrac Software and its guard tour/security reporting platform.

With Silvertrac Software, Kodiak launched Queue Line Assistance (QLA) to pre-screen passengers and improve communication between security officers and TSA, while also using NFC tags in Silvertrac to make each officer a clock-in checkpoint. These changes helped reduce TSA complaints by 50% and cut team check-in time to under 5 minutes, even when 8+ officers needed to clock in at 3:30 a.m.
