Actors’ Equity Association streamlines 52,000 member accounts with SilverTech

Actors’ Equity Association, the labor union representing actors and stage managers, faced significant challenges with its outdated member portal. Users experienced slow page loads, navigation issues, and limited search functionality, which hindered their ability to find information and schedule auditions. To address these problems and provide more value to its 52,000 members, Actors’ Equity partnered with vendor SilverTech for a redevelopment project.

SilverTech implemented a new CMS and co-developed an enhanced portal with features like the Casting Call integration, which allows members to search for and queue up for auditions. The solution greatly improved website speed, user experience, and mobile functionality. SilverTech facilitated a smooth transition for all member accounts and provided the union with a more valuable and efficient platform to serve its members.
