Global Logistics Company was the target of a high‑severity ransomware attack discovered during onboarding of SilverSky’s Lightning Managed Endpoint Detection and Response (MEDR) service. Multiple detections in the Lightning portal showed executable files associated with ransomware on corporate computers that traditional antivirus tools had not correlated, creating an urgent risk to operations.

SilverSky quarantined the affected endpoints, blocked malicious network communications, and—after receiving authorization—placed agents into an aggressive defensive posture while SOC analysts and the onboarding team coordinated cleanup and remediation.
