Warwick District Council - Customer Case Study

Warwick District Council needed a better way to manage website quality across a large organization, where around 100 web authors were publishing content and accessibility compliance had become a major priority due to EU web accessibility legislation. They turned to Silktide, an automated web governance and accessibility platform, to help monitor content accuracy, broken links, spelling, and usability across the council website and related web apps.

Silktide gave Warwick District Council ongoing scanning, reporting, an Inventory feature for finding content across the site, Policies for accessibility checks, and in-platform guidance that helped staff understand and fix WCAG issues. The council said Silktide helped identify and resolve around 1,000 broken-link and spelling issues, supported daily monitoring, and revealed accessibility problems that manual testing also confirmed. Warwick District Council also praised Silktide’s customer service, noting that feature requests were implemented quickly and that the platform became central to their compliance and content-management workflow.
